A bright sunny afternoon with fluffy white clouds... should I capture these beautiful vibrant colours and summer scenery. Of course not! It's perfect IR photography weather. This is one of the few IR photos I've taken recently that I like. I'm still getting used to operating with an IR filter but the live-view on the NEX-5 has been a great help. This was shot in RAW and converted/played with in Lightroom 3

Retro Running

One of the signature events of the Paddy Games was "Retro Running", i.e., running backwards (hence the sponges tied to the back of the head). Some of the competitors run faster backwards than I do forwards!
